Jared - Ring value not worth paid value
I bought a diamond ring from Jareds in White Marsh, MD along with my grandson for his girlfriend. They sold me a 14K ring with terrible diamonds.
Of course, I didn't really know how to buy diamonds and they took advantage of this. I paid $5800+ for a ring worth $1200 (I had two reputable jewelers tell me it was only worth $1200) I pay $350 a month on an account balance which doesn't seem to go down at all. My grandson was supposed to pay for this ring, he cannot do so, and the girlfriend couldn't afford the payments either. They gave me back the ring, and I am now supposed to pay the payments which I cannot do.
They won't work with me and I am stuck with a ring that isn't even worth the money paid for it.
They give jewelers a bad name. They should be shut down.
Monetary Loss: $4600.
Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Hi,
I am writing a story on Jared Jewelers. Can you please contact me at usconsumertips@***.com
how they should work with you? you took the decision to buy that ring, you had the whole month to return it with no questions and now you complaining that company screwed you.
If you want to know the real price if the ring, go to an independent appraisal and don't trust to some weird jewelers who say it's value is $1200. Because for all the jewelers their competitors only sell ***.
