Complaint on fake diamond replacement
My name is Debbie Canales from Corpus Christi Texas I am very upset in the service Jared has provided. They put a man made diamond replacement in my ring.
I have gone in person to tell them but all the manager Margaret said was bring the ring in , I do not trust them to inspect the ring. They cheated me with a fake for I paid for a real diamond. I paid $486.00 in May 2024. I want my money back .

Jered is a disaster. They charged for the gift wrapping and, despite having requested a refund on several occasions, they have not even responded.
The purchase was returned because it was broken. They returned only the jewelry, not the packaging, which they never made.

He comprado con ustedes en Kendhal una cadena para un regalo. Fui muy bien atendida en la tienda, pero la joya que quería no la tenían y me tomaron los datos para enviarla a mi dirección; me aseguraron que me la entregarían personalmente.
Hice el pago para que fuera envuelta puesto que era un regalo. Ayer recibí un mensaje que la joya llegaría antes, es decir, hoy, y esperé todo el día sin salir de casa porque tenía que firmar. Ahora veo que me mandan otro mensaje preguntándome si había visto mi joya, que supuestamente había sido entregada. Fui a la puerta de mi casa y ahí estaba, pero ni siquiera la puerta había sido tocada; pero bueno, esto no es la razón de mi queja.
El problema es que llegó sin la envoltura de regalo. Incluso la caja de la cadena estaba abierta sin ningún adhesivo y todo estaba regado.

Complaint
Had my wedding ring altered. Bought a diamond band for one side and special ordered a band of birth stones for the other.
Communication during the process was miserable. Although the new band is beautiful the cost was extravagant, the wait was longer than expected, and customer service was a nightmare.

My elderly and dear friend walked in for two rings to be re-fitted ($53.50, including tax). Please note that these were passed down from two different family members.
Misty Jared, Chapel Hill, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio managers said one ring is pure gold.
My dear friend, senior citizen on a fixed income signed for $700 on six months credit plan.
Two weeks later, my friend was told that Jared cannot refit the gold ring which is not pure gold.
I left all of my contact info through customer service telephone number and also with live chat to have Christina Fortune/Ohio District Manager call me back. Never happened.

I have been taking my Morganite to Jared's for some time now to be polished. I had to pay $99 each time.
I was convinced by them to purchase a plan where I could come to get the ring polished as often as needed for $231 (one-time payment). After purchasing this plan and upon my next visit to get the ring polished, Julie Thomas (Jewelry Specialist) tells me that they cannot polish the ring to look the way it did before I purchased the plan; she is trained to do polishing, and that was as good as it was going to look. Well, I took it to another jewelry store, and it looks great again. I will never return to Jared's off Concord Mills Blvd again.
They have horrible customer service!
I am disappointed in how your employee (Julie Thomas) acted as if she could care less that previous polishings at this same store were always great until she decided to do the polishing herself. She should never be allowed to polish jewelry again!

Preferred solution: My Morganite polished correctly in the future by a different store or person other than Julie Thomas.

I received an order I didn't order and it is on my bill.
I am still waiting on the fraud depth to get in touch with me concerning my order. I will not make my payment until my problem with my account is cleared up. So please, can someone contact me ASAP.

Dear sir I brought my jewelry in to be cleaned at your Madison heights store, the one that is suppose to be closing the 24th of December, I was greeted by a salesman that ask me what could he do for me, l stated that I needed some of my jewelry clean, he ask me could I come back at 12:00 because there was only 2 of them , I replied I came across town there is no way Im going to come back thats not my problem you only have 2 people as much money as I have spent in your establishment ,and to add insult to injury after cleaning my jewelry I had to put every piece of my expensive jewelry back into the cases myself. This was the worst service I ever had at Jared.

This is the worst company you could ever buy jewelry from , they dont explain the promotions they charge you all the months interest for the full promotion if your late . They give no grace periods or waivers.
Their customer service sucks.
Out of the country 3rd party customer service that doesnt understand English . I dont get hyped up on the name , Jared is horrible I dont recommend nobody to ever buy from them .
Bad service at Madison heights store
My wife had brought in some of her jewelry in to be cleaned, the Sales man that appeared to be the manager, stated could my wife come back at 12:00 a/c they only had 2 people working another employee and himself and a. Young lady inside the cleaning and inspection area, my wife was furious that he made such a statement she was on a cane and refused to come back seeing that we already came across town.
He eventually cleaned her jewelry, but to add insult to injury when he finish cleaning the jewelry instead of putting the jewelry back in the boxes that Jared usually does, I sat there and watch my wife put every piece of jewelry back into the boxes while he sat there and watched.we have spent thousands of dollars at Jareds and this was the first time we recieved horrible service,and if this is what some of your employees are stuck we will be taking our business elsewhere.

In 2010, my husband gave me a promise ring (at age 44) that was a princess cut sapphire solitaire from another company. I loved it.
Our first Valentines Day he gave me a pair of Princess cut diamond earrings.
In 2011, when we decided to get engaged we took both to Jared in Collierville, Tennessee to have mounted on one ring and we purchased a channel set diamond wrap.
We loved how the engagement ring turned out.
In 2013, just before our wedding we took the wrap and engagement ring to the same Jared to have soldered together. Once again we were very happy with the work.
In 2014, for our first year anniversary we returned to the Collierville Jared and purchased a matching channel diamond band to have the sapphire and diamonds mounted to so that the ring looked more cohesive.
My husband promised in our early days that he would replace the sapphire with a diamond for our ten year anniversary.
Two weeks ago we went to the Jared on Oracle in Tucson and purchased a loose princess cut diamond and new diamond wrap only AFTER the sales lady inquired with the jeweler that the work could be done. We spent almost $7000 that day.
Jareds has had my ring almost two weeks. Today they called to tell me that there is an issue and that the work cannot be done because my ring doesnt have a gallery or support and wasnt even soldered properly to the sides of the middle band.
That made no sense to me because Jared made the ring to begin with and its always been structurally sound. They were so adamant that they cant make the ring that I just told them to put the original ring back together and refund me the money we spent with them. Then I argued that since Jared made the ring to begin with that they should do any structural repair at no cost so that the new stone and wrap could be mounted. They refused.
This afternoon I texted customer support who called and spoke with the store manager.
Once again the local store is adamant that there isnt anything that they can do or will do. He also said that the mounts used to build the ring arent Jareds Im how so? JAREDS IN COLLIERVILLE TN BUILT THE RING. period!
If they used a different mount from a different resource then that is on them. So they opened an escalated complaint.
In the meantime I will get my ring back and have our money refunded.
I am so pissed and hurt that the ring Ive been wearing for a decade was apparently built wrong and isnt structurally sound. Im even more pissed that the local Jared has been so flippant.
Pictured is the ring as it was when we bought this diamond and new wrap before they took my ring apart and now says they cant do anything with the new diamond or wrap.
