My partner and I went shopping for wedding bands on 9/29. That evening we had a pleasant experience and with the help of the stores associates, even purcchased a ring that was double our original budget. They said my ring would be sized and available for pickup on Saturday 10/1 by 12pm. Now my partner and I are between 2 residences at the moment. So Jareds in over an hour away. That weekend we were down at the NJ shore and decided that we couldnt wait and wanted to make a special drive up to pick it up. We werent able to get there until Sunday. After a rainy 1.5 hour drive in lovely traffic, I arrive at the store. I advise the associate Im there to pick up and they proceed to search for my ring for over 30 minutes. Not saying much to me and looking increasingly more alarmed, the associate recruits the assistance of others. Eventually they come over to me and say "sorry..your ring was misfiled and we can have it for you tomorrow" At that point I was so aggravated I just want to cancel. After I tell them I want the ring returned, suddenly they can have it done before they close, I decline. The associate returns again and offers me 20 minutes as long as all goes well. Now Im REALLY upset because they had to wait until I was upset to escalate it. I repeatedly ask to cancel the purchase and the associate returns once more and says..." he has all ready cut the ring"...at that point I had had enough. How dare they suggest thats my issue! They couldnt even find the ring when I got there!

As if the ordeal in the store was not enough. Today, I log on to check the status of my returned purchase. The day of my purchase I was advised that 20% had to be made from a different form of payment and the remainder would be made on my Jareds account. When I returned the ring (due to the store inability to have it sized in the timely promised fashion) they ASSURED me the 20% that was made on our AMEX card would be returned to that credit card. Once again Jareds has messed up and returned the entire amount onto my Jareds cc acount. WHY would I want my credit cards funds returned as a credit to a retail store card? The customer service line advised me that i have to go back into the store and waste more of my time to rectify JAREDS mistake. I am beyond irate and diasppointed in the stores ability to get something as simple as a return and refund done correctly even after they ruined my pick up of my wedding band. I called the local store and spoke with Israel (who has been polite and has attempted to assist me) but even they sounded uncertain as to how this was going to be corrected. I want this fixed immediately. You swiped my money immediately and now you cant seem how to put it back correctly

I will NEVER use Jareds again and I will be certain to tell ALL of my friends and family about this horrible experience
